#WCW // Anthea Poulos

Thesis Lifestyle: What does Anthea Know Best about? (what is the in thing in fashion, what is good to listen to right now, where is the best place to hang out and eat) Anthea Poulos: She knows about everything ;) I’m kidding, I’m more about just sharing the things I like. If you follow my instagram you’ll get the best sense of all the small things that I love, my life is kind of accurately summed up in that space. TL: How did “knowsbest” become an addition to your name? AP: It started because people used to ask my advice a lot on all sorts of random things so I thought it’d just be a fun little name addition. I guess it’s less about what’s BEST and more about what I think is best. TL: How would you briefly describe what you actually do? AP: I’m a social researcher at heart and I guess that’s what has helped me observe and get to know what I know. More than that I’m a strategist and co-owner at The Bread. TL: What is your typical day like? AP: Grab a coffee from my neighbourhood coffee shop, head to work in Braam, meetings meetings meetings internet internet internet. Lunch at Post or Daleahs, Drool over some sneakers online. Chat on the street corner to all the homies around that day. Head home, probably go for a run, dinner, series, book, sleep. TL: If you met your future self, what would you say to her? AP: I’d say don’t sweat the small stuff, everything will happen in the right time. Follow your heart more than your brain. Have more fun. TL: If you had 3 wishes what would you wish for? AP: Endless money        Apartment in every dope city in the world        To be less material? ;) TL: What is your take on the young girls who are breaking the barriers by getting into the “male dominated” creative industry? AP: I think we need to stop looking at it like that, lets just focus on all putting out our best work and not about representing our sexes. I wish more girls would have the self confidence to step out and do what they really want to professionally, I think many are still scared. But for those that do, big up!
